im sorry if this is the wrong place seemed like the right place to me im looking at 360 controllers for my laptop windows 8.1 my USB's are 3.0. Do I need to worry about a standard wired controller or afterglow not working with the usb 3.0?

Xbox 1 Controller for the PC

    Hey there WRAITH811.

If your controller isn't synced with anything after being unplugged it should blink for about 30 seconds before powering off. Then you can press the sync button on top of the controller and connect it to your PC via bluetooth.

Xbox 1 Controller for the PC

So I bought an xbox 1 controller that supports bluetooth technology, which my laptop does as well. However, I just purchased a charge and play kit (official microsoft brand) and after I unplug the charger from the pc that I'm playing on, the controller
then desyncs from the pc. Then starts a long and painful process of pairing it back to my pc wirelessly. Which can still be a pain when I don't use the charging kit.

So my question is, what is the process of resyncing my controller after using the charging kit that doesn't involve taking the batteries out and putting them back in and is there a better way to turn off the controller other than removing the batteries.

This is on a windows 10 pc.

    Thanks.
