Controller Firmware Version 1.1.2228.0 not vibrating on some games.

Recently updated one of my controllers to the most recent firmware version 1.1.2228.0. Ever since it does not vibrate on some games, mainly Destiny and Limbo are the ones I've noticed the lack of vibration. I have another controller still on an older firmware,
1.1.2182.0, and the vibration works with everything without changing any settings.

The one that is not vibrating is a brand new controller I purchased and when connecting decided to update so that my headset and stuff would work. The controller on the older firmware is the one that came with my console. I only had the problem after the update.
I'm not sure if this is a known issue or I am having a one off problem any help would be appreciated.

Controllers not working properly with console

Have you tried updating the firmware on your controllers? Plug your controller (with headset) into the console with a USB cable. Press the Menu button. Go to Settings...Devices & accessories...pick a controller. What does the Firmware Version say? I
think the current version is 1.1.2228.0. The last menu option should be Update. If you already have the current firmware version it should say 'No update available'. Check each controller.

 

I've recently updated to this firmware version as well and now no headset adapters nor the headset that came with the console work at all.

You may have updated your Controllers and I know many people who have updated then and never had this issue.

But try resolving this issue by going to where you updated the controller and reupdating it. If this does not work, Please also make sure that your vibration setting is activated.

If this doesn't help, your controller is *** up and you need to contact Xbox 1(800)4MY-XBOX and tell them what is going on.
