Controller Firmware, No game audio.

Try to RESTART the CONSOLE and put the USB into a different port to just for update, see if any change. If no change try a different Micro USB cable and test again. Also when controller is plugged in with mic , check the audio slider settings, or
try a different headset to test. Also try a different game and see if say audio issue.

Ive tried with several different games, i have the mic sliders set to 50% game and 50% Voice, idk man nothing is working i power cycled my xbox and restarted it i just am clueless at this point

Turtle Beach audio controller to check if it has a firmware update available.

Yes, it still doesn't work. The audio settings look "grayed-out" and I can't select or adjust any of the settings.

Also, updating your controller firmware again did not help the audio? As you mentioned that with the new firmware the audio was not working only on MLB.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The audio was not an issue with both firmware's for MLB, it's the analog sticks that are the issue. Because of that, I wanted to revert to the old firmware so I could play my game smoothly again, but once I reverted, the audio won't work. I've tried updating and reverting the firmware multiple times, but nothing seems to work. I would really like to avoid buying a new controller, but I'm aware that I might have to because it seems unlikely that I can fix this.
