Controller falling apart

Has anyone had this issue? I recently noticed that while the vibrate option is on that my controller rattles around quite a bit. It feels as if the right side of my controller (trigger, arm of controller that your grab onto with your right hand) is loose
which is causing this issue.



Any tips/ideas? Or am I out of luck and will have to purchase a new controller?

Elite controller falling apart

I have an Xbox elite controller from around launch time about 4 months after owning it the rubber grips started to bubble. I contacted support and they told me they could do nothing for me because I was out of warranty. Fast forward a year later and one
of my joysticks started acting funny getting loose and doing the wander I've heard so many complain about. I called back again and still no help I'm out of warranty and Xbox no help. despite the fact I bought their elite system brand new for 500.00 and spent
countless on their games and Xbox gold membership. Now we reach present day i'm reading online that somewhere around the start or Mid of 2017 they extended the elite controller warranty. It's now march of 2018 and I call back yet again wondering why I hadn't
received notification of this extension. I was then told they still could do nothing for me and when asked to speak to a supervisor i was met with ever excuse not to let me. This is horrible all I want to do is play my games with my elite controller and not
have it falling apart in my hands if anyone out there from the world of Microsoft or Xbox reads this please help me this issue has been going on a long time this isn't how you treat good customers.

I have heard a fair bit about this from early consoles. I got one from the December batch and a new Titanfall controller and both are fine in terms of build quality.

 

The controller that came with my system literally whistles/hums when it vibrates and the fit and finish is what I would consider poor IMO. However, I really like my Titanfall controller and the rumble has no issues.

 

I have heard that support are happily replacing controllers that suffer build quality issues but you have to send yours off first, essentially leaving you with no Xbox for about a week unless you have a second controller. I can vouch that the newer controllers
are a lot better, as have others in the past so it may be worth doing. Your call at the end of it.

 

i have a day one and a TF controller and had no problems

 

Day 1 controller has been bad from the beginning, The left side is sharp and you can see the board inside, also the rb doesn't hold. I've heard from others that the later editions are much better quality, I just haven't bothered replacing it. I'm sure if
you bought a current batch it would be ok.

 

I had this issue as well i just sent my controller off this saturday, when i tracked my package the fullfillment center recieved it today. When i called to set up the repair i got a free code for a 1 year xbox live. So i am waiting on my replacement to ship
back to me.
