    Controller dysfunction?


    Hey guys, I recently started having this problem with my controller. If I turn on my Xbox manually from the console or the Kinect via voice command, then my controller will not work. It will be turned on and connected, but neither the joy sticks nor any
    buttons will work except for the Xbox button. I can hold the Xbox button, and I will be prompted to shut the Xbox down, or turn off the controller, but since none of the other buttons work I can't even do that. The only way my controller will work is if I
    turn my console on via the Xbox button on the controller. Please help! I have no idea what's going on. It is just a standard wireless controller that comes with it. Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Xbox One issues after connecting headphones

    try updating your controller go to : settings/accessories/controller(make sure you have your controller connected to your xbox)/update controller

    Controller dysfunction?

    I can't say I have that issue nor have I heard of the issue. I was just wondering if you tried to do an update on the controller? That might help, not sure. Worth a try though.
