    Controller dying


    My controller will turn on fine in pairing mode, but about a second after it connects to my xbox it shuts off as if the battery died, i have tried using it plugged in and on fresh batteries. This is happening for two of my controllers. Both work when plugged
    into pc, and i have updated the firmaware on both

    Problem with Xbox360 controller

    How old is the controller? Perhaps it's dying. Have you tried another controller to see if the same issue occurs?

    is it a wired headset? if it is a wired head set then your controller batteries may be dying.

    Xbox Series S/X controller suddenly stopped on PC working less than a year in. Can plug in, and it vibrates, but no connection is made

    The warranty for controllers is only 6 or so months sadly, which is one of the things that upsets me about my controller dying less than a year in.
