Controller drops out every so often

I'm quite frankly getting fed up with Microsoft, and in particular my Xbox One.

Every so often when I'm playing games (or using the Netflix app) the sound will start stuttering and then the controller will lose its connection to the console. This is particular annoying when I'm not able to keep playing whatever online game I'm playing.
The only solution to get the controller to connect again, is to turn the controller off, and then turn the controller back on again (and hope it works - every so often you need to rinse and repeat this step). This happens with both the controller that came
with my console bundle and my Elite controller.

Having been an Xbox Live customer for almost 10 year I'm now looking towards Sony and their PSN.

Microsoft - you need to tighten your game!

Every player looks the same? what about custom gear?

Every so often you get supply drops.

You open these drop while in the main multiplayer level. They often have gear like helmets, trousers, tops etc. They are then added to the armoury. You can wear this gear so you can look different.

Twitch and the Constant Bitrate battle

I'm having the same problem as well.. wish someone could figure this out... i usually start a stream in "excellent" then after refreshing every so often it drops down to "acceptable" 7 mbps upload.. twitch app always recommends 2500 kbps which i believe
is the highest xbox can go.. someone please help us!

I have had controller drift with 3 different controllers causing me to buy new ones. For me, I think its the best bet although controllers are pretty expensive .

I would do a couple of things, make sure your controller is up to date first and foremost. After that if the issue is not solved, check to see how you are resting your thumb on the joystick, I find that in certain games (I have my sensitivity for looking
up and down and moving set really high) that if my thumb is resting on the controller joystick it pushes on it just enough to cause my character to move. The next time it happens pick up your thumb and see if the drift stops. It did for me so I had to figure
out a different gaming style haha, challenging!

My controller is a rough estimate of 2 years. It isn’t that big of a deal. Right when it starts drifting i love it slightly its back to normal and starts drifting like 2 minutes later. It doesn’t disturb me too much in FPS games so. I tried all the options
everyone commented so far. None has worked.

Is it happening in Borderlands 3? Mine is drifting to the right just a little bit. No other game.
