    Controller Drifting, different issue


    Hey so my controller is drifting, obviously. However it's different because its not a constant thing. The right analog only drifts after 5 seconds of not doing anything. So as long as I'm using it, and aiming, there's no issue. But when I set it head level
    on the screen or in the direction I need to be looking, and don't use it for a little bit, it gradually starts to drift straight upwards. It's mint condition, hardly used. I'm convinced its a software thing. How would I go about fixing this?

    While I understand your frustrations....to be honest, drifting controller problems are resolved by replacing the controller. In my personal experiences, the controller hardware is of poor quality and this produces the drifting.

    I've now had 5 different controllers since launch so for what its worth...this isn't a ideal resolution but the hardware is the issue rather than software.

    Controllers malfunctioning in TitanFall

    +1 for the right thumbstick drifting issue. I've only played Titanfall at this point and luckily have a second controller that works just fine. Either the "drifting" controller is defective (sad, really) or there is something with the latest TF patch, preview
    dashboard update, or a combination of all of the above.

    New Controller Feels Weird

    Hello Cr1pT1k, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the new controller.

    I understand what you're saying about the controller but I believe I know what the issue is. I too have a controller with stick drift that I use on a main basis. Sometimes when I use a different controller without the drift it feels different to me because I've become used to adjusting for the drift.

    This may be the same with you but should disappear within a few days of you getting used to it

    Controllers up to date, no drift. this is with all 5 controllers I have. Shut down the console and restarted with different controllers.

    If the controller has a drifting issue then you will have to wait for the replacement. There really is no fix for drifting issues that I know of.

    Have you tried using a different controller? It might be your joystick drifting.
