    Controller Doesn't Work with Netflix


    I am able to connect to my Xbox using the app on windows 10. The controller in the app works fine until I open Netflix. Then all of the buttons work except for the A button and navigating using my touch screen. It works fine on the Xbox app on my phone.
    Is there any updating coming out soon to fix this?

    Controller buttons not working in netflix

    Wireless controller works fine in netflix until it goes to sleep then when I awaken the controller no buttons work to control Netflix. The controller still works to get to Xbox home and functions fine in the menu, just not Netflix. Please help.

    Hey NiPaMo,

    How is your controller connected? Is it connected to your PC? Or is it connected to your Xbox One? Does this only occur in Netflix?

    You might also try reinstalling Netflix to see if that helps to resolve this issue.

    Hi NiPa, What version of the App are you using? Are you also experience the same issue when using the Xbox App Beta version? You can try the beta version by going to the store on your PC and searching for "Xbox App Beta".

    Having this exact same issue, MS claim not to know about it but it has been like this for months.

    I have tried the BETA app and scrolling on Netflix app doesn't work on that either.

    With the Netflix update, parental control blocks the Netflix app. Before, parental control blocked individual movies on Netflix which is how it should work.

    I'm seeing this issue in Netflix as well - neither voice commands nor Smartglass work for Netflix if the controller is off. If I turn the controller on both seem to star working fine. This, of course, sorta ruins the point of having non-controller input
    methods if you have to have the controller on. Is there a place to log this as a formal defect?
