    Controller doesn't work in one specific game


    My controller works fine except when I'm trying to play GTA V. I have had this controller and GTA V for a long time and have used this controller on this game before. I haven't played this game for a while but when I tried to start it up the controller
    didn't work. It worked in the homescreen and in multiple other games too. But when I try playig GTA it just acts like it isn't connected at all. Nothing does anything except the home button wich brings up the home "banner" like normal. I have already resynced
    the controller and resetted the console. I'm at a loss what to do. Thanks in advance Controller doesn't work in one specific game :)

    Copilot with other controllers/wheels

    The
    Copilot support article     doesn't specifically mention that this feature only works for official Xbox controllers, so it
    should work for almost anything (although YMMV with third-party controllers).

    Does it help if you were to switch the second controller around? Let the copilot controller be the regular one, and the wheel controller the main one?

    Oh, no. I mean on your Xbox Console, to try downgrading the firmware.

    If that doesn't work, could you tell me if this is happening with that specific controller?
    Are you able to test another controller?

    In the event that you can't get one cheap you can use Motioninjoy with any USB controller and play games that way. It supports bluetooth as well. Works with PS3 and 360 controllers, but I'm not sure if it works with the standard 360 controller or just the
    ones specifically made for Windows.
