    Controller doesn't work correctly in Dashboard


    The A button on the controller doesn't work in the Dashboard. Yet it works fine within the games and apps. It is the standard controller that comes with the system. The system (w/controller) is 11 months old.

    Things I have tried:

    1. Power cycling Xbox
    2. Updating Controller
    3. Using controller via USB only with batteries removed
    4. Changing batteries

    I only have one controller so I'm unable to test the system with another controller. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is it a bad controller or is my system messing up?

    Sea of thieves doesn't work correctly

    Press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and turn your Xbox on again. Try to open the game and check If the game Works normally.

    Hello,

    in the game sea of thieves it is impossible to play in open crew.

    I launch an open crew with a galleon or sloop, and I lift anchor.

    The game finds players, then the loading page stays on the same animation for hours and nothing happens the game does not start.

    I gave the same problem, but only on my controller with firmware 1.1.2228.0

    Same here.

    My issue started happening yesterday.

    In some games if I can actually get them to load, it's like the A button is pressed down all the time.

    I updated all of my 3 controllers to the latest firmware 1.1.2228.0 this morning and it's still happening. Very annoying.

    I know it's no consolation, but at least others have the same issues so something is awry. Keep me updated with any news and fixes yeah?

    No fixes. Had to buy new controller. MS refused to replace.

    What type of problem are you having with your controller?

    MY CONTROLLER WON’T CONNECT TO MY CONSOLE OR PC -> it doesn't apply. the controller does connect to my pc

    I CAN’T UPDATE MY CONTROLLER -> it doesn't apply. Xbox Accessories says it is up to date

    SOME OR ALL OF THE BUTTONS ON MY CONTROLLER DON’T WORK AT ALL -> it doesn't apply. All buttons do work correctly

    so:

    Make sure the window is clicked on. Sometimes windows loses focus when it comes to controllers and you have to remind it

    I usually play in full screen mode. I just tried it with Ori to be sure and it didn't change anything. I also tried it with fullscreen off to see if that would make a difference but it didn't. Thanks for the suggestion.
