    Controller doesn't turn on with Xbox


    Hello, I have a Xbox Series S since January 2021, and I used the controller with the OEM batteries for some time, and when they got empty I swapped to using my controller with a cable directly connected to the console. The controller usually turned on automatically when I pressed the button to turn the console on. But after some time, the controller stopped turning on along with the console, and I have to press the controller button separately to turn it on. This is a behavior that bothers me a little, and I wish to have back the function to start up the controller when I turned on Xbox. Is this possible?

    I am glad when I say "Xbox On" my controller doesn't turn on. IMHO 9.99999 times out of 10 I am only turning it on to watch TV which doesn't require the controller. It would be a waste of battery life to turn the controllers on every time the console is
    turned on.

    Controllers losing sync and won’t stay synced.

    I have the same problem when I turn on the Xbox first and then the controller, however I can still turn on the Xbox using the controller and if I do it this way this problem doesn't happen.

    Have you updated the controller firmware yet?
