    Controller doesn't recognize microphone


    Hello, it's the third time this happens.

    Everything was fine and out of nowhere, my controller doesn't recognize my microphone, but I can still hear my friends in the chat but they can't hear me for no reason, it happened last year in October, I waited and bought a new controller in January this
    year, didn't change anything. The next day I went back to the videogames store to replace my new controller and this one worked out fine untill yesterday, no one have the answer to my problem and I don't wanna have to buy a new controller each 3months again
    and again..

    Why is this happening?

    The problem might be that you have your microphone off. To turn it on, simply go to "system" on the screen you go to by pressing the home button. Then, with your headset plugged in, go into the section labeled "audio". Finally, switch headset mic to on.

    Xbox gamepads do not have a microphone in it.
    Yes I know the controller doesn't have a microphone it's when the microphone headset is connected to the controller.

    It was one of my first microphones, and I still have it.

    It comes with a USB cable and an XLR , if you are using the USB cable, try to see in the Windows settings if it discord other Apps are configured to be recognized by it.

    If it doesn't work, as it doesn't have the ability to install drivers, sometimes the only way to get it recognized the only way to get it recognized by discord etc would be to use an audio interface.
