controller doesn't connect when I turn Xbox on anymore

since the February update when I turn on the Xbox I have to manually turn on the controller it doesn't connect wirelessly anymore.

Is this the 360 you are talking about?

As the console has never turned on the controller but does turn it off when the console is shut down.

I have never had any connectivity issues with the Xbox one controller, but since the February update my controller randomly disconnects. I have tried everything to remedy this and nothing works apart from connecting a USB and sitting about a couple feet
away from the TV

Yes, the controller was connected to the console via USB, but now when I try to connect the controller via USB, it doesn't turn on, it doesn't even light up

tried this but still no positive result i also want you to know that when i try turn on my xbox with controller it starts but the controller keep blinking and doesn't connect to the xbox .
