Controller does not connect to XBox 360 LEDs keep blinking

Hi all,

I got a new wireless controller today and tried to connect it to my XBox 360. But the 4 LEDs keep blinking. Did it all right, first pushed the button on the XBox than on the controller but it does not work. For some reason also my first controller does now
not connect anymore. What am I doing wrong? Batteries are fully charged. Ohhhh please help!!!!

Pairing up controller Xbox One limited edition Halo 5 - Guardian

I purchased this controller and have trouble pairing it up with Xbox One. I followed instructions that come with it "Quick Setup Guide".

I did "Press and hold connect button on the controller for 3 sec" - I did

Manual says that Led xbox logo button on controller will blink but it does not

When i press that logo button it does start blinking

Then i press connect button on the side of console then xbox logo on the console start blinking

at this point both (console and controller) are blinking for a while and then they stop

controller is not paired up...

I changed batteries and also went back to store to swap it but that didnt help.

Any suggestions?

Controllers disconnected and cannot reconnect

Hi,

My xbox 360 controllers (I have four) disconnected at the same time and after trying to resync them they just keep blinking. I changed the batteries to new ones and also tried to connect them to my pc receiver for xbox 360 controllers and they work normally.
I can turn on console by clicking the guide button on controller but after that the controller also keeps on blinking. What should I do?

Did you have the controller plugged in to its play'n'charge cable to the xbox? That might help connect it to your 360. Other than that, that's all I can really guess the problem is. I hope it all gets sorted out. I've had trouble connecting new controllers
to my 360 in the past too, just takes a while sometimes.

Can take a while, if you do have or can borrow a play and charge kit it will sync it. If not I would try fully in plugging Xbox from the power and taking the batterys out of the controller for ten mins so it restores and then try again.

Unfortunately those don't help.

I've now also tried reinstalling the device driver (with a system restart) and the same issue persists.

Laptop works fine per the setup link you listed: "The controller LED will blink while it's connecting. Once it connects, the LED on the adapter and controller both go solid."

However, for the desktop, the controller continues to blink, and then does not connect.

Now (with the new driver installed) i cannot connect my Xbox Controller anymore. (Connect Button @Wireless Adapter doesnt make the LED blink). Anyone else got that issue?

It sounds like your controller simply lost its connection to your Xbox 360. You would be able to verify that the controller lost connection because the LED lights on your controller would be moving around in a circle, or blinking.

If you experience this issue again, I suggest attempting to
reconnect your controller to your Xbox. If this doesn't help, please come back to the Support board for further assistance
