Controller disconnects

For some odd reason my xbox one s disconnects randomly and then connects back. Or sometimes it disconnects and acts like it is connected but it is not. I've Hard reseted my xbox several times but it still happens. any help?

after the last upgrade my control Xbox One does not connect wirelessly, single cable.

I've had the same problem all year. My controller just randomly disconnects whenever it wants. It always has fresh batteries & I try syncing it every now and then to see if it helps & it doesn't. I've talked to Microsoft about it they said that it might
my console with the problem, not my controller. VERY UPSET!

I don't have a solution but I'm experiencing a similar problem with my Xbox One S and I wanted to add some additional data points.

The controller included with the console had the issue

I bought a second controller (the newest model with bluetooth) and it had the same issue

My two older controllers from my non-S console do not have the issue on the S console (or the older console)

Neither new controller has the issue on the old console

I swapped out the S console for another S console and I still have the issue with the new controllers (but somewhat less)

The new S console now also sometimes has the issue with my older controllers and the other S console did not before.

I should also note that I have tried each of the above combinations with regular batteries, rechargeable batteries and a battery pack and the resulted are not impacted one way or the other

My experiences seem to indicate that it is an issue with the console and unless I'm just incredibly unlucky it seems unlikely that I received two lemon consoles.

Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...

Hey everyone!

Sorry to see all the trouble with disconnecting controllers. If you haven't had a chance please make sure you run through all the steps in this

Xbox One Wireless Controller Disconnect Troubleshooter. If the steps there don't work be sure to test a different controller to see if the same issue pops up. If you're only having issues with controller then I'm afraid repair or replacement is going to
be your best option.

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

Updates:

Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.
