Controller disconnects

I've trying new controllers, new batter/battery packs, Xbox is plugged into the wall, I have kinnect on and controllers are up to date but after all that it still disconnects every 10-20 minutes.

That happens if your wireless controller has been inactive for at least 15 minutes. The Xbox One Wireless Controller is designed to turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity. If that is not the case I suggest you to check this support link and check the "Your
controller doesn't maintain connection to your console" section:

I have this same problem and it has nothing to do with the power saving features. I can be playing a game, controller in hand and the pad will disconnect. Fully charged battery etc.

I've seen the suggestion of using the charge cable "to improve connectivity" but what is the point in buying a wireless controller only to have to use the charge cable to use it? It defeats the purpose of a wireless controller!

Some games are worse than others but all games do it.

I wasted money buying the elite controller in the hope that it would fix the issue but it hasn't. I am very fed up, this issue has existed since my day one console and still exists on my elite console. Bad show!

Do you by any chance have anything placed on top of your console? Not the vent part, but the left side of it. The other day I asked on Reddit if it's safe to place my external hard drive on top my Xbox left of the vents, and some guys made comments saying
that placing things like that on top can cause wifi issues as well as controller connection issues. After he said that, I noticed the my controller actually does get disconnected randomly at times. Like last night I had JUST unplugged my charger from being
fully charged, and within 20 minutes, I had a controller battery dying notifications, and I was like wtf.

So, just something to look into man. I'm gonna take my external HDD off my xbox and see if I notice any difference.

That is exactly where my external HDD is and I don't have any issues.

Idk, it's just a suggestion. That dude is saying he doesn't have any issues. I myself have been having issues so I'm gonna take mine off when I get home.

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

Updates:

Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.
