    Controller disconnects (more frequently since last update)


    My Living Room Situation is less than "ideal", that is I have to sit pretty close to the TV (small screen), and the kintect is placed up above the TV - paranoid that down low it burned out (unit died 2 weeks in) because I was sitting so close.

    End result is the kinect doesn't always have the best view of the front of the controller. This hasn't been a problem until the latest update to the controller (popup on dash when I booted w/ a chat adapter attached) on the 7th. Since then, the X1 will "lose"
    the controller and disconnect - full batteries, etc. Through the beta preview I don't recall this happening, and I haven't changed my seating arrangement since then, so it feels like it's something new with the last controller update to make it more prone
    to this?

    At the very least, when the kinect sees only one person in the room, and only has one controller connected, maybe it could be less eager to assume something's gone awry? Controller disconnects (more frequently since last update) :)

    Controller Repeatedly Disconnects

    i've had this problem since the last update(i think thats when i started) and it will only work if i keep the controller within a foot of the console, it connects for like 10 minutes and then disconnects frequently and had searched far and wide for the answer
    to this, but most people just send the console in for repairs. Hoping the next update fixes this issue

    For me the update seems to have improved things but not cured them entirely.

    I still get a bit of audio crackling/cut-outs. It doesn't happen as frequently or severely as before but it's still there at times.

    I also haven't had a controller disconnection since the update *crosses fingers*.
