    Controller disconnects from console


    Hi

    I have a problem with my controller continually disconnecting from my console.

    I have replaced batteries (Energizer Lithium Ultimate) 4 times but I don’t believe it is a battery issue as when th controller disconnects the light stays illuminated on the controller and the only way to reconnect is to remove the batteries the reinstall
    and restart.

    Console and controller 1 week old.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Have you tried re-pairing the controller with the console? Or checking to see whether the controller needs a firmware update?

    I have the same problem and the controller flashes like its out of range. It only happens when im playing games, and the headset begins to sound like its being interrupted. I have tried 4 controllers, new batteries in all, cycled the console, re synced the
    controller...same issue and its getting frustrating!

    Hey there,

    i have had similar issues. Does the xbox controller power off or begin flashing as though in “pairing” mode when it disconnects? Also do you have anything between you and your xbox?

    this would often happen to me when i walk away to grab a drink. Let me know your situation as im curious.
