Any ideas? How do I go about replacing the controller if there is no fix I can apply?

Hi,

Has anyone got any ideas please.

I keep on getting the message "Please reconnect controller" every few minutes?

I thought it was the batteries bit get the message even with new batteries.

Controller disconnecting

Both of my controllers keep disconnecting. Each day it gets worse. It started when the controller update happened. Now the Xbox isn't even playable as it disconnects about every minute. What a waste of money.

I had some strange behavior from my controller after I updated it as well, but it wasn't able to stay turned on for more than a couple seconds.

It's a little "off the books", but safe to do: remove the batteries from the controller and let it sit completely unpowered for a couple minutes. Then, if possible, try a another pair of AA batteries, or just put the same ones back in. Power
it on, and see how it works. I did this very same thing, and my controller was back to normal.

My controller starts acting weird about 15 minutes before the low battery indicator pops. When getting the "disconnects" it usually remembers the last input; been a few times I've fell to my death in Fallout 4 because of "walking" off the top of a building.
Should probably mention the controller doesn't fully disconnect to the point it needs to be powered back on, but more of a "lights flashing, last input, controller disconnected message, press A" type of thing.

Seems to be directly related to the type of battery and power level of said battery.

This same thing just started happening to me in AC3! Whenever an AI enemy becomes hostile my controller disconnects. I've tried new batteries and switching controllers but its the same every time .

Is this a common issue?

I have a similar problem. It started happening after the headset firmware update. My sound quality is good. My problem is it will randomly say that my controller died or disconnected on the screen but the controller will still be on. I have to take out the
batteries to turn off the controller. The controller reconnects after I put the batteries back in and turn it back on. I change the batteries thinking that was the problem. But even with fresh new batteries it still does it. I see sharks & nobles posts and
I hope it can all be fixed with the next firmware update. Hope its sooner then later.
