Controller disconnection issues (my case)

I turned off completly my Router but it didn't help.

 

Thanks again for sticking with us. I have a couple more things for you to try, which should hopefully help us narrow down the cause.

First up, try playing with your controller wired. Apologies if I've missed this in your previous attempts. If the controller disconnects while it's wired, then something is definitely not working right between the controller and console.

Next up, try your controller(s) at a friend's house. I understand if this isn't possible, but what this will do is get you and your controller into a different environment with a different console. If the controller still disconnects then we know the fault
lies within the controller. Try multiple controllers if you still have more than one! If your friends don't yet have a console, perhaps see about taking yours over to their place. That will still give us a change in environment and help us narrow down the
cause.

I know that these steps are getting more involved and a little complicated, but since the standard stuff isn't working, we're trying to think outside the box.

 

I noticed the same static which was corrected when I unplugged the controller and played wirelessly

 

OK, the case looks this way:

1. I've playead a little while (about 30min) with wired controller - I used cable which was included with MS Stereo Headset and the one from mobile phone charger. Not a signle disconnection which I was expecting (people noticed this already that wired controller
eliminates disconnections issue).

2. Sorry but I can't take my Xbox One to my friend's house - I mean this is possible but I don't have time for this so as my friends.

3. This is my 2nd Xbox One - the previous one had the same problem. I tired 3 controllers and all of them had disconnections issues.

4. I'm from Poland where Xbox One wasn't launched yet, so my friends don't have Xbox One so I'm unable to check if my controller would work with their consoles, sorry

Now, either I have very bad luck (two consoles with the same issues) or something is wrong with all Xbox Ones. I would like to exchange this Xbox for new one - it's very hard for me to do this from Poland - but I'm afraid that the 3rd one will have exactly
the same problem.

What should I do?

 

Thanks again for the follow-up, Reaper. Without being able to test this in different environments (which I totally understand), it really sounds like you wound up with 2 consoles that have the same issue. A repair/replacement would be the best option at
this point.

 

Well, I have another Xbox One - this is the 3rd one and...I just had my 1st disconnect.

Now I'm sure that another exchange is pointless (unless for PS4).

 

That is so weird, Reaper. All I can think of is that something in your home is causing interference, because that is the only element that hasn't changed in our attempts to find a fix.

I understand it's inconvenient and might take some time to set up, but if you're able to set up your console at a friend's or family member's home, then that will tell us if the disconnections are isolated to your place.

 

It will be hard because I played yesterday for about 2 hours without a single disconnection, today I had only one disconnection. So not only I need to take my console elsewhere but also play there for who know how long

What is sure that the console disconnect less than before.

 

Something strange I've noticed today - those red flashing lights which are placed in front of the controller (where the micro usb connector is placed) - with my previous consoles those lights was flashing always when the controller was not pointed directly
into Kinect.

With this one I have now those light almost never flashes.

How these lights should behave?

 

I posted this in preview as well i checked mine they flash for 2/3 seconds when console is booting up

They don't flash if i switch the Kinect off

 

Just to add that my controller now disconnects every 10 seconds - making it unusable, batteries are fine - on the final 405 firmware, just waiting for 406.

 

There is another controller update in 1406

 

Yes, I know. I played a little while without disconnections but I cannot confirm yet that the problem is solved.

 

Was the update of the console and controller yesterday, are still ongoing phenomenon and disrupt the connection is .... What to do?

 

The update is for previewers if you are in the preview you should have it
