Controller disconnecting...

Had problems a few months ago of a controller disconnecting constantly. Contacted xbox and they very kindly offered me a replacement. All was well for a few weeks or so but has now started to do it again!! Im guessing that because of the way my lounge is
set up im less than 2metres from my wifi hub and this is causing it.

Now im thinking of going wired controller to resolve this.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?? Would wiring my xbox to the hub resolve it or not??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My wirless controller keeps disconnecting; if i buy the rechargable cable batttery pack would able to play without the controll disconnecting

Mine does the same from time to time, I've tested with a micro usb cable and it doesn't happen when plugged in. You could probably pick one up to test (think mine was bout £3 off amazon.)

Controller disconnects can also be caused by a faulty wifi board within the console itself, which Microsoft can fix, although its not cheap.

Other signals can certainly interfere. Wiring the Xbox One to the hub itself wouldn't help, although it would provide better Internet connection for the console.

If you can you could move the Xbox One away from the hub and see if that helps. Or you could potentially try changing wireless channels on the hub.

Another potential cause is bad contacts between the battery and the controller.

Also make sure the controller is updated, too.

Running a wire from the controller to the console should stop the problem, if you can find no other solution.

Thanks for the advice. I've got a USB lead and I've decided I'm going to purchase an ethernet cable as well!

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

I would recommend checking out the "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" page,

support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-disconnects. It lists a number of issues that could be causing the disconnection and solutions.

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

Updates:

Paired both controllers to console at the same time. Both controllers lost and regain sync at the same time.

Paired Elite controller to iPhone. No disconnects.

Paired one controller to console and other to phone. Controller connected to console disconnected, controller connected to iPhone stayed connected.
