    I got the new Xbox S 8 months ago and have had nothing but issues in the last month or 2 with the controller disconnecting and reconnecting. I've changed batteries, controllers, bought a whole battery pack charger that attaches to the console itself, and tried a complete reset along with tons of hard resets. Nothing works. And from what I'm researching online this is a now common issue? Even with older gen Xboxs. I'm pretty frustrated that my console isn't even a year old and is already having issues. This makes me want to make sure this is the last Xbox I own. I can't even play online without it randomly disconnecting and then I proceed to get wrecked while it takes its time reconnecting.

    your controller shouldn't just disconnect randomly, try plugging the usb into your xbox and into your controller and try updating the controller.
