Controller disconnecting, causing audio adapter to shut off, takes 10+ minutes to turn back on

hello, all.

First of all, my wireless Xbox one controller randomly disconnects, even with full battery. This happens probably every 15 minutes.

Second, I have an audio adapter plugged into it, and when the controller disconnects, it shuts down the audio adapter even after the controller reconnects, and stays that way for a while. What can I do?

Option to change controller auto off

I use the Xbox One Stereo Headset to watch movies on my Xbox One and it's nice to have essentially a wireless headset. However, if you don't push a button every 15 minutes the controller shuts off and you lose audio (and it takes a good 5 seconds to turn
the controller back on and regain audio). It's quite annoying to have to do this. Can we please get an option to change the controller auto off time to something like an hour, or have it only turn off when we tell it to?

I really don't want to have to buy another wireless headset, it would be nice to continue to use the Xbox One headset to receive audio while watching movies, however with the 15 minute time out it's not practical at all.

HELP!!!

Turn your controller off, then hold down the power button until your console shuts off. Let it sit for a minute, then turn the console back on.

you can recalibrated it on your Xbox one setting under accessories . If that doesn't work and it keeps on acting up I advise you to get a new controller so your gaming experience doesn't get interrupted.

this does not solve the issue, with my controller plugged in its still requires interaction every 14 minutes or it shuts off. its impossible to be totally immersed in a game and also need to keep track of when your mic is gonna cut out, and take your hand
of the keyboard or mouse to jostle the controller and if you miss the time then my controller shuts off and i loose all audio and have to turn the controller back on and it takes a few seconds to re- connect to the chat and game audio, meanwhile ive died or
and playing def, and missing important audio queues.

Is there any work around to using the controller for audio while playing games with mouse and keyboard so that we aren't having to remember to touch the controller within 15 minutes before it shuts off causing us to lose audio?

Turn your controller off, then hold down the power button until your console shuts off. Let it sit for a minute, then turn the console back on.

Try taking the batteries out with the controller disconnected from the console for 5 minutes. Then do a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from
the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Replace batteries in controller with new ones. Power up the controller and dnce it is back up and operational test for results. Good Luck!
