Controller disconnecting after official headset controller update / Official Plug & play

CONTROLLER.

Anyone else having controller disconnecting and will not re-connect without having to turn the xbox off and starting from scratch.

Also often losing the sound from the head set for no apparent reason don't know if its two separate problems or what but its not on Microsoft SORT IT OUT

PLUG & PLAY

Do not buy this it is awful slightest movement and it disconnects often cashing the controller to crash mid game and the battery falls to hold charge after a few weeks

These problems ruin the what could and should be the best system

Xbox One S Controller not working with headset adapter for Turtle beach XOFour Headset.

I just recently got an xbox one S to replace broken xbox one, and the original controller I used with my XO Four Headset (Turtle Beach) and the official xbox headset adapter. I thought my new S controller would just be a case of plug and play after the console
and controller was done updating, I could hear my friends in party chat but i have been unable to talk using my S Controller. Do I need a new headset adapter or is there something else wrong?

check the connection between the plug and controller - also if it's not an official xbox headset, please check with the manufacturer for updates.

If your Xbox one Controller doesn't work or gets disconnected after you plug in your Stereo Headset Adapter, unplug your adapter,
and then update your controller without the adapter. After the controller is updated, insert your Stereo Headset Adapter back into the controller.

I've got the same problem and so do many others it's not just XO7's people with polk 4 shot and A40's are posting the same problem.I Think it's something to do with the chat adapter update.I updated my day one controller via the system settings menu but
when i put the new chat adapter that came with XO7 headset in it forced another update.Now when using the headset with the controller I get frequent disconnects,the controller light is still on but the only way to make it go again is to pull out the batteries
and put them back in again.I tested my other controller with XO7 headset last night and no problems at all I only updated that controller in the system settings it didn't get forced to update with the chat adapter.Also my day one controller seems to work fine
without the headset or headset adapter plugged in,I used the same official MS plug and charge kit batteries in both controllers.I contacted Turtle Beach and they said to contact MS because it's most likely a controller issue.I've posted in several support
forums around here no official response yet.

Chatpad all the way! Can't play properly without it plugged in now, balances the controller perfectly! Then modify the official Tritton headset so the mic cable plugs in to the chatpad and there you have a perfect setup!
