Controller disconnect issues... still

Mister Quimby, once I've sent my console away, what is the standard procedure for transferring all the items I had on my console to the new one? Do I need to basically screenshot all the apps I have and then reinstall them when I have the new one?

Just to clarify, if your console is replaced, you will need to reinstall all games and apps again. This can easily be done by navigating to My Games & Apps and choosing either the Games or Apps tab for which items you would like to install first. On the
right side you will see all of the games or apps that you have previously installed in the Ready To Install section. If you have any disc based games, you will need to install those by inserting the disc and following the prompts to install.

 

Im just like everyone above .. by that i mean here i am typing vs sitting down playing a game

My issue has also seemingly gotten worse over the last 7-10 days .. i mean we made a drinking game out of it ( drink each time your controller disconnects .. and we got wasted playing 1 game of nhl 16

Instead of getting customers to repeatedly send their faulty systems/pads back, how about actually fixing the issue.

This seems to me to be a software issue with how the pads sync to the xbox.

Stop papering over the cracks MS.

 

Same here since i started using a headset in april, tried everything including a new controller. Gave up in the end and use my ps4 instead. Only use xb1 for exclusives now and no multiplayer because of dcing. MS should have fixed this by now, just installed
win 10 and still does it >.<

 

I also have this problem, I did what was instructed on the on the support page for this problem. I hard reset the Xbox and this only temporarily worked. I cleared everything around my Xbox but still this keeps happening. It has gotten so bad that my console
also disconnects from my network when the controller disconnects. I have had to use wired network ever since but I'm still having the controller disconnecting problem. Could this possibly be just the console's signal weakening?

Disconnects or Can't Connect troubleshooting page and the issue persists with multiple controllers, you will need to have your console replaced. You can request a repair through our Online
Service center.
