Controller deadzone issue?

Discus and support Controller deadzone issue? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I've noticed that there is a pretty severe dead zone issue with the joysticks.     Controller deadzone issue?


    I've noticed that there is a pretty severe dead zone issue with the joysticks. I don't think it's a hardware issue because some games don't have it. The game I have noticed it on the most is CoD: Ghosts. Is this an issue that Microsoft is aware of and if
    so is there a way to fix it? Is this even a Microsoft problem or is this an Infinity Ward problem?

    Elite controller deadzones

    There seem to be a lot of these threads lately.

    I wonder if these controller issues have something to do with the recent update?

    OP, did you check if there was a firmware update for your controller?

    It must be your controller because I don't have a problem with deadzones in my controller.

    I'm sorry, does Microsoft not feel the need to respond to a paying customer about a software issue with their "top of the line" gaming console? If you refuse to answer my question then maybe you can tell me who is in charge of the person in charge of these

    Oh, I see. That's a good question .Controller deadzone is the amount your control stick can move before it's recognized in game. The best way is to adjust the deadzone in your controller.

    anyone with the speed wheel willing to share settings? I just got a new one and am trying to learn how to tweak the controls. there's no guide on what any of these settings mean. or know any sites that will explain the following settings?

    right now I'm kinda happy with speed wheel setting 1 with the following:

    with these settings sometimes I totally feel dialed in and other times I'm out of control.

    steering axis deadzone inside: 0

    steering axis deadzone outside: 50

    acceleration axis deadzone inside: 0

    acceleration axis deadzone outside: 50

    deceleration axis deadzone inside: 0

    deceleration axis deadzone outside: 50

    clutch axis deadzone inside: 0

    here are the default speed wheel settings which drove me crazy:

    deceleration axis deadzone outside: 95

    clutch axis deadzone inside: 15

    The other problem i have is the issue about the stick drift and the advise given by people on this forum....... the controller was promoted to be played with a certain game that allows full the input from the controller to be accepted, the advise of increasing
    your deadzone is rubbish! Oh buy this controller its great oh but by the way you have to set the deadzone to large for it to not drift on the game we are promoting it for........
