Controller/Console Problems (Bugs)

I just got a new controller the other day thinking it may fix the problems I have been having but it didnt. Some times (not always) when in game I click the home button and it does not work; both to go home and to turn off/restart my xbox. Also sometimes
(but not always) when I want to place text somewhere it freezes on the keypad window, not allowing me to text, but everything is still active behind it. Also when this happens I cannot use any home button feature including turning off my xbox. This forces
me to turn it off with the button on the xbox. Please fix in next update. It is rather annoying to spend so much on a console that does not work right.

Bug: Chat audio

There's a bug i figured out that makes mics useless. Here's how to get this bug to happen.

1. turn on your console with your voice or clicking the button on console.

2. Sign into your account with your voice.

3. turn on your controller

4. start a party or go into a game to test if your mic is working. (not the Kinect mic)

sign in with your controller if you don't want to deal with this bug everytime you turn on your console.

I always sign in with voice but lately have been signing in with my controller because of this annoying bug

XBOX ONE CONTROLLER WILL NOT STOP DISCONNECTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same kind of problem... my problems started about a month ago and I can't play any game without getting disconnected or bugged. My best shot is to play with a USB cable. Playing with USB cable the controller works well, but while I'm playing
AC: Unity the controller bugs every time a get in combat. The controller keeps connected but it stops working. It's very annoying... I'll search some way to prosecute Microsoft for this kind of issue. It's not MY console or controller... it's happening to
a lot of people.

Sorry to hear about the controller issues! If you haven't already, I suggesting making sure that both of your controllers have been updated. You can update your controller by following the steps listed in our

Update Your Xbox One Controller page. If the issue issue pops up again, I recommend trying to a few steps:

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.

Wait a few minutes and then plug in your console.

When you get a chance, give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the results. Thanks!

Hello reneSophia,

If this control was previously connected to the console, but is no longer able to respond, the connection process must be repeated with the console connection button.

Also, confirm that the batteries of the control are charged, this usually causes problems with the connection.

If it still does not connect, reset your console, since it might be a bug on it.

You can be sure that this is not related, it must have been a simple coincidence.

Regarding your problem, the bugs you have are quite strange, check that your sensitivity problems and aim are not due to some lack of controller update, you can update it in the app "xbox accessories". About the graphic problem, what kind of bug do you have?

Have you tested the console on another TV/Monitor?

Tipo, se você conseguir testar o controle em outro console ou em seu PC e estiver com o mesmo problema. É um defeito do controle. Caso esteja normal em outros dispositivos é um bug. Aí tem algumas maneira para resolver sem acionar a assistência.
