Controller/Console Issue with Xbox One

Hi, I have a very weird situation/bug. Very recently my Xbox One stopped receiving input from my controller(relatively new, only 4 months old controller). When I say that, I don't mean the controller disconnects because the controller says its still connected,
its not blinking or anything but nothing happens when I press any buttons on the controller. I use headphones w/ the controller and I know immediately when the issue happens as the sounds cuts out and my character in my games stop moving but again the controller
says its still connected despite no input working and an in-game message saying reconnect the controller. I turn the controller off and turn it back on and it says it instantly connects with the xbox but still nothing happens when I press anything and in game
is still telling me to reconnect a controller. I try resyncing the controller by pressing the buttons on the controller and console and the controller will start flashing but the console doesn't flash when the sync button is pressed like it usually would.
I tried plugging the controller in to make it wired and still nothing happens.

The only way to get it working again is to restart my console. If I try to resync my controller when the xbox and controller are working then it syncs just fine. Both the controller and console will blink and reconnect upon hitting the sync buttons in seconds
and all the input from the controller works fine. But then some random time later in game input won't work and it'll tell me no controller is connected despite the controller saying it is and the whole issue restarts and it won't work until I restart the console.
I have a second controller and the exact same problem happens with that one too so I'm pretty sure its a console issue.

That was the issue when it first started 2 weeks ago and it happened maybe once a day. Then a few days ago it kept repeatedly happening every five minutes.

Today I tried playing and the xbox wasn't even picking up any input from the second I turned it on rather than after a few minutes. I could do nothing with either controller despite both saying they were connected and the sync button on the console wasn't
working. After power cycling a few times to no avail, I power cycled the console and made my controller wired before restarting and the controller worked but the second I unplug the wired connection, despite the controller saying its connected nothing will
happen.

There are no controller updates I have to do, I have swapped batteries, and I didn't recently smash anything or anything like that to start the problem it just started happening out of nowhere and has gotten worse and I am out of ideas for how to fix it.
Using wired isn't an option as I do not sit close enough to the console and I find it very annoying anyway.

Has anyone experienced this problem or have any potential solutions
