Controller connects to laptop but not the console

My laptop connects to the laptop and it works using a usb cableHowever when I try to connect my controller to the console it can't seem to connect. What should I do?

XBOX accessories issue

I have my XBOX one controller truned on and connected to laptop (USB) but app can not see it and still displaying "Connect controller...".

After restarting laptop, the controller was connected, but I couldn't update it. There was only the statement that I have to be sure that controller is conected. Now I can't use my controller in this app again.

My xbox360 controller doesn't connect to the wireless receiver

Hello,

I have been trying to connect my xbox360 controller to my laptop, but I'm not able to solve that. My wireless receiver is working as it should be and my controller as wel. But the controller doesn't connect to the receiver. I used several usb portals. Still
no connection. I received a CD with my receiver for the software, but my laptop isn't capable with a CD. That's probably because I recently obtained my laptop. It uses Windows 10. What can I do to solve it?

Here is a link with instructions on syncing a controller to a console.

If none of that works then perform a hard reset on your console EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational try syncing your controller again.

Are you attempting to connect an xBox console or a controller?

If a console then it isn’t possible unless you have a HDMI in connection either on the laptop or a monitor - on a laptop the HDMI is just for connecting to an external monitor.

To connect a controller then connect either via Bluetooth or plug if wired plug in to a USB socket.

So if I understand you correctly, you are streaming from your console to your laptop, and you have your controller connected to the laptop with your earbuds connected to the controller?

How is your controller connected to the laptop? Via MicroUSB cable or via the Xbox wireless adapter for Windows 10?

Good day the controller does support bluetooth but this function is for connecting to other devices like laptops, the controller connects with on the xbox wireless band to the console
