Controller connections completely stop working

Hi,

I'm looking for some help. I have a first generation One console and experiencing a really annoying issue: the controller link randomly crash. I say "controller link" it's about wireless, usb connections and
the sync button on the console doesn't responding.

Here a summary:

- Losing controller connections randomly

- USB ignored too

- Sync button on console doesn't responding

- Controller are fine and up-to-date

- Tried with One, Slim and Elite controllers

- Console is up-to-date

- Reboot doesn't work - needs a hard reboot

- After hard reboot Sync button works fine

I tested a lot of configuration to search if there is an external interference but no. And the Sync button doesn't responding so I guess it's not other devices.

Didn't find similar issue here or any workaround. If you have any kind of tip you are welcome. Thanks.

I follow all steps and it doesn't change the issue

Hard question to answer if you've gone thru all the basics. One last one would be, how old is the controller, because like everything they do go bad or fail with time and usage. I've been through 5 in my time on the console.

Last thought is trying a different controller. If it works, then its not your console.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Thanks for the update on the issue with the Xbox One original not connecting your Xbox One controller via wireless and USB.

Due to the console not responding to either, we would normally recommend to
contact Customer Support for further assistance or visit the
Device service and Repair
site.

At this point in time, we are no longer servicing Xbox One Original consoles. The next step would be to replace the Xbox One Console.
