Controller connected wireless, buttons do not work

I have had an issue with my titanfall controller for a while. It worked great for a while, but now is having issues. The controller will connect to the system, the middle xbox button will work, but not other buttons or sticks are working. If I plug in the
controller through usb it works great. So the buttons work, just not wirelessly. Again, the controller is connected to the system. I have tried shutting down the xbox and turning it back on and I have tried re-syncing the controller. Nothing works.

    Any ideas?

    :)

How to connect and use an Xbox wireless headset

Connect a wireless headset to a console

To connect a wireless headset to a console, follow the steps bellow:

    • First you need to turn on your console and wireless headset.
    • You have to press and then release the connect button on your console.
    • Within 20 seconds, you also have to press and hold the connect button on the back of the wireless headset for two seconds.
    Notes:

    • Each connected controller can have an associated headset.
    • The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset works with 30 feet (9 meters) of your console.

    Use your wireless headset

You can turn the headset on or off pressing the power button on the headset.

The headset automatically turns off when you shutdown the console or when it is idle two minutes.

You can adjust the volume pressing the + or – button. To mute the headset, you need to press and hold the power button.

  3. Only Xbox Home button working

This happened to one of my controllers after the February controller update. Only home button works if connected via wireless, when I hold the home button the only option that pops up is to turn off console, as if the controller is not even connected. When
I connect via USB everything works fine.

That exactly describes the problem I am having, I had thought it was related to the firmware update with the preview program update I just did, because it only just started for me.

No, my titanfall controller has had this problem for months. I just tried again today figuring maybe recent updates solved it, but no....

  6. I'm getting the same problem with my official controller. It happens to me when the controller is automatically or manually disconnected, then when I turn it back on it connects but none of the buttons or headset works. The only way I've found to make it
work again is if I hard reset the console.

  7. DF, I was having that problem before, except that it would never connect but at least as you said a hard reset would make it work. Now it does connect but nothing works!

  8. Controller connected wireless, buttons do not work

Well, I've had to get a 10' micro USB cord so I can use my controller, it would be nice if Microsoft figures this out so I can go back to being wireless again!!

I am having the same issue.

I don't know if anyone can help me that is in the preview program. I am in it as well.

I have 2 controllers that I charge with charge cables and battery packs plugged into the back of my Xbox One. The controllers worked flawlessly until I updated the new firmware in both. Only the Home button seems to work on both nothing else.

I have contacted supported several times and it is coming down to sending it in for repair. Something I am not happy about since I have to pay for it since it out of warranty.

Both controllers work %100 with USB cables. I have done cold resets and sync trouble shooting with support. Nothing. I even did a system reset and nothing has fixed this issue.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Controller connected wireless, buttons do not work

I too am having the same problem with one of my controllers. It powers on and connects to the XBOX, but only the "X" Xbox logo button works. No other keys work. Funny thing is, they will work if plugged into USB. This happened after the update. I did
chat with someone online about it and they said others were complaining of the same issue. He told me that after we did a number of different things to try and fix it. I was told to wait for an update and that the problems were passed on to the engineers
and that a future update should fix the problem.

anyone help me my wireless headset is stuck on port 2 and wont sync to port 1

Turn off and disconnect all controllers from the Xbox 360 and disconnect the wireless headsets from the controllers.

Connect the wireless headset to the Xbox 360 using the USB cable. Turn on the wireless headset.

Sync the headset to quadrant 1 by pressing the "Connect" button on the on the Xbox 360. Then press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset for two seconds. Do not continue to press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset, as this will change the
quadrant to which it is connected. If the headset now works without the controllers attached, the problem must be with one of your controllers. If the headset still does not work, then the problem is with the headset.
