Controller connected to PC for power, stop working every 2 or 3 days.

Hi, I have a problem with the Xbox One controller since the PC driver was released few weeks (or months?) ago. Since I'm not using batteries, I have my controller connected to my PC to power it up. The issue is, whenever the PC driver for the controller
got installed, the controller will vibrate when I turn it on and it won't work on my Xbox One. The only workaround so far is to:

1. remove the controller (and uninstall driver) from the Device Management console
   
2. turn it back on again, and sync with my Xbox One.

The problem is, every 2 or 3 days, the PC driver will automatically reinstall thus I need to do the workaround all over again.

Is there any fix? Hopefully there's gonna be a switch soon to enable or disable the controller with PC use.

Please help with connecting a second wired controller

I have connected one controller and it's been assigned position 1 on both the console's power button and the controllers guide button and it is working great. I then go to connect another controller and it get's assigned exactly the same position instead
of position 2 or 3 or 4!!!! Thus I can only use one controller as they are being assigned the same position. Please help as to how I can get the second controller assigned to a different position on controller guide button and console power button.

Xbox one controller buttons not working in game only on certain game

My Xbox one controller works on every single game I own except for GTA V. As soon as I start the game all buttons on my controller immediately stop working and only the home button works. I am streaming from my xbox one to my windows 10 pc

 

If you look at a USB plug, you'll see inside 4 "pins". to supply power you just need the two outer pins, and the two inner pins are the data transfer pins. You can modify the cable and cut the two inner wires that are the data transfer wires. that will stop
your controller reinstalling itself. The Data wires are the white and green wires inside the cable.

Thanks for the reply SN1P3R SK33T, I'm definitely not good with wires but I'll take a look at the latter option. However, it would be nice if there's an official fix from Microsoft
