controller cannot be calibtared

Hello there

I started playing dark souls 3 on pc and immediately realized that keyboard+mouse is absolutely useless. Most ppl recommended xbox 360 controller for ds3 so i bought one. today i tried it in-game, but it's not working. I could only run in different directions
but i cannot use ABXY buttons, nor the triggers or anything else. i've checked videos on youtube about testing and calibrating controllers on win10, but unfortunately, my windows does not have this option. if i go from printers and scanners>generic usb joystick>game
controller settings>properties, there is no calibrate button. only 'function test', 'calibrate function' (here is only left axis and right axis test witch does not change anything and only the left one works) and 'vibration test' (witch freezes the testing
window freeze immediately so i couldnt test it at all yet). What is this sorcery?

Xbox 360 Controller won't respond to commands.

Check this support link:

If your controller still does not work correctly, it will have to be replaced. You can order a replacement Xbox 360 controller from the Xbox Online Service Center. You must register your console to replace a controller under warranty.

Your controller cannot wireless connect the console?

or your controller cannot power on?

If your controller cannot power on,

You can try to usb connect, If work, this maybe your batteries problem,

If not work too, you need get the new controller or fix it.

If you cannot wireless connect,

you can try use other controller wireless connect the console,

If can other controller wireless connect is not work too,

this is your console problem,

else, controller problem.

the admin account is the one that controls parental controls, therefore it cannot have parental controls implemented on that account, place a pin on that accounts so they cannot use it then make them us theirs

That's a stretch. The product is fine. You cannot possibly control every player's interaction, as people cannot be controlled. It'd be different if the game was inherently broken. It is not.

I am still having this issue. I have performed hard reset. I have an unassigned controller I cannot remove linked to my Xbox, however I only have 1 controller which is assigned to me. I cannot update the controller and I cannot remove the unassigned controller.
What do I do?
