Discus and support Controller Calibration is Off in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there anyway to recalibrate my controller?     Controller Calibration is Off


    Is there anyway to recalibrate my controller? Everytime I play a game, it now responds as if I'm pressing the right joystick forward/looking up even when I'm not pressing it.

    Hey Lazarus,

    We currently don't have a controller calibration app for the Xbox. If you strongly enough about one being implemented, you are more than welcomed to suggest it on our
    Xbox Ideas site. We do have a

    Device Support     site in which you can see any options for your controller if it needs a repair/replacement.

    Controller Calibration

    You can check if your controller is still within warranty (then it's a free repair), or the page will show you how much it costs here:

    https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

    There you'll have to register your console, if not already done so and then say you have trouble with an accessory for that console.

    Choose your controller, and if asked for the controller serial number, you'll find that in the battery compartment.

    no that is microsofts way of making us all buy a new controller every 6-18 months even though they have a great joystick recalibration tool in windows

    Settings->System->Controller Update!

    You can request a Repair! - Replacement Accecory

    Log in on xbox.com Register your Device under My Account

    I had the same issue with the left is.Sorry to say have to buy another controller and is not covered under the warranty.

    That maybe can be the Batery or the Calibration of your Controller, You tried remake the calibration on you Controller? You make some Firmware Update in Controller?

    Whenever I move my left stick in the home screen it moves extremely fast and goes all over the place, and moves to the bottom of the category that I am in.

    I Think maybe you need make some calibration in your controller configuratio. Try go in Settings > System > Kinect & Devices > Controller and try make the calibration/Reconfiguration
    The thing is... I can’t get to the settings because of this glitch.

    Have you tried connecting your controller to the console, when its off, with a play and charge uSB cable and restarting the console?
