Controller buttons double moving

Hi there,

please try the following steps:

1. manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link
   http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console
2. wait at least 60 seconds
3. Disconnect the console from power for at least 2 minutes
4. Reconnect the console and power powering on again

I can see how having your controller act like that could be frustrating/confusing. I would say that if you haven't yet, then it would be best for you to try the steps outlined in our

If the steps above don't help though, you might want to consider replacing the controller itself.

If you have the Xbox Control App, I would double check you have the setting in the correct way first. If it is just in game, check the in game sensitivity. If it is happening while at the home screen of your Xbox, this might mean a button is stuck on.
I have noticed it you have a button held down and move the joysticks around they move incredibly fast. If a button is stuck you will have to try and see if you are within the warranty period or replace the controller.

Double tap the sync button on the controller, then try connecting the controller to the console.

To use your triggers and right thumb-stick while playing a game, double-tap the Xbox button
to lock magnification and all the controls on your controller. To switch magnifier controls back on, double-tap the Xbox button
again.
