    controller blinks twice then shuts off


    hey I was hoping someone would be able to help me my Xbox one elite controller slipped off my tv unit(I obviously did place it down properly otherwise I wouldn't be here) it was working perfectly before. every time I attempt to turn it on it blinks twice
    then shuts off. I've tried plugging it in, new battery, re-syncing the controller, checking and cleaning corrosion, making sure that the battery have a good point of connection and I've even taken it apart and cleaned all inside for build up of dust might
    interfere with the components Inside the controller. if anyone knows how to fix please reply I don't really want to spend £100 on a new controller If I don't have to. thanks

    Controller Flashes Twice Then Shuts Off

    it happened out of nowhere today while playing GTA 5, it disconnected, I changed the batteries assuming that was the problem, but it still would just flash twice then shut off. Even having it plugged in with usb it still just flashes twice then fades off.
    I've tried most steps available to fix it, but problem still persists. Any help?

    Try just holding the Xbox Button for about 10-15 seconds. Then try it. Had the same issue myself a couple of times, didn't work with one controller, but did with another....

    Hello! Mine just did the same thing yesterday! Were you able to figure out a solution? I tried pairing but it blinks twice and shuts off. Other controllers work fine.

    Hi,

    So i actually cant update or see if my controller needs an update because its not showing up on the microsoft accessories app on my laptop and i tried to connect it to my old xbox one however its having the same issue of turning off

    Is there any other way i could update it without the xbox accessories app?
