Controller audio freezing

I've had this problem for about 3 months now. Before hand it was seldome and a simple reboot would fix it but now its nonstop.

I have the Xbox One Elite controller and everytime I plug in my headset it has the same sound as when a computer freezes and plays one portion of a sound in rapid succession. This also happened with the controller that came with the Xbox. I figured it was
the headphones themselves so I swapped my Turtle beaches for a pair of RIG 400s but the problem still persists. My teammates can hear me as I play but all I hear is that annoying buzzing or rapid repeating noise. I am up to date on all of my updates even the
controller updates but this problem still occurs. Please someone help me out.

New One Netflix Update

No problem with voice controls well not anymore than normal anyways.

But I'm having a issue with using it in snap mode it freezes and you can hear audio but picture freezes or it stops playing and says go to Full screen tried using it while playing Diablo.

 

Xbox update

The controller update has to do with the wireless chat audio adaptor and the controller itself. Fixes certain issues like disconnects or controller freezing as well as static sounds heard in the headset when using Dolby Surround setting selected under Bitframe
for audio.

I'm going to check it again tonight since it appears I got the update, but no indication.
