Controller Audio Desync Xbox One X

If this only lasts a second or so and you done all the troubleshooting suggested. We recommend waiting for the next update and see if this helps fix the issue. When you update the controller make sure the headset is plugged into the controller.

hi,

at first i would try a power cycle:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

then i connect the controller via cable with the console and check for controller updates

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/accessories/update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter

after this i would check the audio output:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/choosing-speaker-audio-output

Has this always happen or is it recent?

Those were the first things I checked. I have the Project Scorpio Edition if that makes a difference.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get your controller to sound the right way.

I would suggest that if you haven't to try the steps outlined in
Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting, though your issue doesn't exactly fit into the categories described on that page, it's still a good idea to make sure that it's alright there.

Another thing that you could try is what we call a soft reset. It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting
step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.
