Controller and Network Issues after xbox one updated to the 10/11/2018 update (OS version: ...

I recently upgraded my xbox one to the update that was released on 10/11/2018. After the update though I started to experience multiple issues that I hadn't experienced before. After the update my controller would disconnect from my xbox at random times
and wouldn't connect unless I would restart my xbox (and sometimes only after restarting multiple times). Then another issue after the update my xbox would randomly disconnect from my network and have no internet access, even though all other devices that
are connect to the internet remain connected to the network. The xbox would not connect again unless I restart the xbox (and at times I have had to restart the xbox every 20-30 mins because it would keep disconnecting). I have not experienced either of these
issues until after the software update on 10/11/2018. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the new update?

    :)

  2. Xbox Accessories App - Can't Assign Profiles

I am unable to assign profiles in the Xbox Accessories App after the latest OS update. Digging back this was flagged as a known issue on the insider build it was based off of.

My original Xbox One OS and Elite Controller both have the latest updates applied.

Xbox Support could only offer me a (potential) work around of using the app on a Windows 10 PC to assign the profiles, and claimed they could not escalate the issue internally above the Tier 1 tech I spoke with. After testing I had the same issue on my Windows
10 PC with the Xbox Accessories App.

I'm assuming they just released the build with that bug still in place?

Xbox One OS build I have:

    OS version: 10.0.17134.4056 (rs4_release_xbox_dev_1806.180626-1359) Release date: 07/5/2018

    Note from insider build:

    https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2018/03/03/new-preview-alpha-1804-system-update-3-3-18/

Settings – Accessory app Some users may experience a problem not being able to assign controller configurations in the Xbox Accessory app.

Hello, My name is Steve - is there any error codes displayed as they are useful for finding out the issue. If not then maybe your Xbox has dust in it that may be blocking the fan causing overheating which means that the components inside your Xbox will also
overheat which - in this case - makes the Xbox not run at its best or even fail most tasks! If you could - maybe going to see a trusted repair store and getting them to have a look at the issue. If they don't know (very unlikely) then go to a Microsoft or
Xbox store may help or directly contacting customer services as they will know.

    Many Thanks, Steve XBL

First thing to try would be performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power
cord back in and restart the console.

Hope this helps. Let us know. Good Luck.
