Controller and headset disconnect and then wont reconnect

I had issues with my Xbox one X where I will be playing online and all of a sudden the sound in the headset will get choppy and the controller will disconnect. Then I will have to use a usb cable and it will work fine. I have updated the controller and the
battery is fully charged (plug and Play kit) I also have tried fresh batteries and the same thing. I have power cycled and everything and still this problem persist. I have both a wired headset and a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 (wireless). It happens with both
headsets. Please Help. The console was bought on 6/10/18. I also have a xbox one s and tried that controller on my X and the same thing happens. There is no router close by and nothing to interfere with the console.

Xbox One Controller

My Xbox one controller disconnects and then reconnects about once every hour during gameplay. If I am using a headset, this also disconnects my headset. The batteries are brand new and all updates have been applied to both the console and controller. This
issue has persisted for several months. Are there any solutions or is the controller defective? I do not have another controller to test this on.

same. Turtle Beach Earforce Seven. Also, if the headset accidentally physically disconnects, when i reconnect the sound does NOT return unless i restart my whole box... eegads... Also, turning off my controller, it WONT reconnect unless i fully restart
the box as well.

WTF is with this last update????

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I have the same problem. Its been months and call of duty has still not fixed the issue. The problem is having a wired headset connected to your controller. This is a glitch which COD has to fix. Nothing is wrong with the console. When you navigate the game menu disconnect your headset and it will work fine and wont disconnect. If it does disconnect in game or anything, just disconnect your headset for 5 seconds and it will reconnect.
