  1. Controller and headset cannot cooperate.

    Hello,

I have been having an issue with my new xbox series x, stealth 600 gen 2 headset, and elite v2 controller.

When I am using both controller and headset together the xbox cannot maintain the connection to either piece of hardware. The headset will start by getting scratchy and disconnect for split seconds until finally it loses all sound and voice function (says it is still connected during this). When this happens the xbox says “controller disconnected” and I cannot reconnect either controller or headset without a hard reset of the xbox. This is an infuriating problem as I am forced to drop out of matches and games without being able to save a game or fix the issue during gameplay.

Anyone have any ideas about this or should i just be switching to playstation these days?

    :)

Chat headset included in Gears Ultimate bundle?

I recently purchased the 1TB bundle here in the UK. It came with a new controller and also a headset fitted with the 3.5 jack that can be fitted directly in to the controller without the adapter. The headset is excellent but unfortunately cannot be purchased
as a separate item. Will Microsoft ever released a headset that fits directly in to the new designed controller?

Does anyone know if the original Microsoft Bluetooth usb adapter will allow me to use my WIRED headset with my controller on pc?

You should just have to designate your audio input microphone as the headset in audio options

Bluetooth controllers cannot use headsets in chat, it only works if you use the official wireless adapter plugged into the controller

Headset working but xbox doesn’t recognise mic

My headset is working but I cannot hear people in party chat. It says it is unable to find my mic. I’ve tried switching controllers and headsets but it made no different

    Keyscaper bluetooth gaming headset

If the headset is only a Bluetooth headset, then it cannot be connected to the Xbox, as the console does not support Bluetooth. However, you can connect a wired headset to the controller via 3.5 mm audio jack. If the headset can be connected that way, then you will have to connect via the wire.
