controller analog sticks not working and slow turns

I have this wired controller that with little use has the looking analog stick not working. I can't look up and if i look to the left it look up and left while looking down works just fine looking right makes me look down and right. this is causing serious
problems since I do enjoy playing FPS games but have no controllers that work. I'm afraid to buy another controller since i have no idea if it will work. once the problem occurred I then defaulted to using my broken controller that the only problem with it
was that it didn't have a mic so if I plugged in my mic to the one that can't look and play with the one can look i can make the job of one controller using two controllers. well after about 4 months without use I decided to come back to my xbox and play some
fortnite only to see that my old controller I play with now has a slow left turn! I now have two controllers that have no use or very, very frustrating use. most of the time I can deal with certain problems depending on the type like when one of my bumpers
fell of so I relearned how to play overwatch using the pressing of an analog stick, but this problem, at least to my knowledge, is unfixable without buying a new controller that might suffer the same fate! my question here is that is there a cheap xbox controller
on like amazon or something that has worked well for you guys or is there anything I can do about this problem. I know some people talk about controller configs that work to solve these issues but don't know what those configs are.

Can understand your difficulty.

Here are two options.

1.Buy an elite controller which has more durability and button mapping options.

(This option can be considered if your button smashing is less)

2.Go to Settings-Devices and Streaming-Accessories-Select Configure under Controller Image.

Select a profile or create new one and remap buttons as you desire.

Update your controller firmware .

In the last month alone there have been two releases, so try the firmware update prior to buying a new controller.

The uSB method is my preference.

Unlimited sprint isn't truthfully needed in a series that arguably has maps that are too small to begin with. At the same time, clicking in the analog stick to sprint in COD is the leading cause of damage to my controller. It's

I find it a bit funny that people look back on the 360 controller so fondly. Sure I didn't have any that just stopped working completely but I did have 2 with broken mic jacks and a bunch with drifting analog sticks.

The early 360 white controllers were good but they cheeped out later on and produced junk analog sticks that would only last a few months before they would start drifting.

I'm fine with the X1 controller but the analog sticks seem to still be prone to drifting. They need to beef the analog sticks up but I don't see that happening it's a way for them to sell more controllers.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with right analog stick. Does the analog stick work in a game or anything going right? If it does try updating the controller. If it doesn't may want to think on a repair if new, or
replacement if older controller.
