    I have the same problem. With two controllers! I bought my xbox one 2 months ago and within 2 weeks the controller I use the most has the clicking sound in the left analog stick. I send it back to the store (still waiting on repair or a New one!) and I started
    using my second controller. This one is giving the same problem. I am thinking that I should have bought an PS4 instead :-(

    Or triggers... if you're a trigger happy gamer. One of my older controllers makes a bit of a noise when pulling in the right trigger and the LB is a bit unresponsive, but I think that was because of a few drops out of my hands or falls off the desk.

    Xbox, I’m a huge fan and I love it. But you ought to do better about your controller. I spent $500 on it and what do I get? A good console and a POS controller. I love the technology but I cant freaking use it when its flimsy and fragile. I have not dropped
    it once. Piece of advice from someone who plays daily, either make better controllers to start off with OR start producing heavy duty versions of the controller…. with thicker/metal outer parts.

  5. Controller that came with my console at xmas has been dropped, kicked chewed and anything else you can think of AND it works completely fine. Got a second controller a couple of weeks ago which had barely been used (only to play against my 6 year old on
    fifa) and has suddenly got the ever so popular 'LEFT STICK ISSUE'. Swapped this at Game for a fresh controller, had this one a day and BOOM left stick has gone again! MS this is a serious issue which if ignored will result in a major downfall for The
    XBOX ONE.

  6. Sent my controller to exchange, the 2/21. Still haven't received the new one. This is beginning to get to me. Thinking to change to a PS4.

    Good luck! I returned mine in Dec. Until now I have not received it. Advocacy group will be sending me TitanFall Controller as compensation for waiting for replacement of my Day One Controller. Apparently they don't have it in stock.

    Number 5 controller has just gone every weekend I'm having one break! Wots happening MS???? I am using the one I bought at asda so I can take it back and get a new one there and then. I don't want to use the one iv received as a replacement for the first
    one that went that came with the Xbox one! As it costs me £10.20 every time I send it back Controller analog sticks broken? :( this controller is out of order MS!!!!! I'm scared of playin on my £500 Xbox incase another pad breaks and I lose my rag with the Xbox!!!!!! How may pads so I have

    Update....

    I wrote a letter to a very senior member of Microsoft and a week or so later received a phone call from the USA and a (I think) high level senior team. After discussing my issues they agreed to a) refund my postage costs by way of MS points (£34); b) send
    me another standard controller from the service centre free of charge so I can have a spare; and c) highlight the controller issues to a top level executive board.

    In the meantime I got a Day One back from the service centre and it was filthy. Grubby dirt stuff on the sticks and triggers. I emailed my new contact in the USA and have been given..... wait for it..... a returns UPS shipping label to send the controller
    to Prague free of charge. Now why can't they do this for every other bleeding controller that has broken?

    It really upsets me that it is on us to pay for shipping when this is a bad product. I already had to replace my overheated xbox one console, now I have to pay to replace the controller that came with it? Come on now.

    Has anyone had any luck at having them send them a brand new controller to replace it? I don't care about the "day one edition" and just want to be able to use the thing. I also want them to give me a shipping label, which is unlikely.

    I recently spoke to Microsoft about this. I told the guy on the phone that both my controllers have broken joysticks and the button on my mono headset was broken therefore I had no accessories to use my system. He said my only option was to pay out of pocket
    to ship everything out to be fixed. I asked for some kind of compensation as I would have no controllers to play and I was paying out of pocket to ship them out. He said his colleague has denied compensation stating the company had done nothing wrong. What
    does that mean? Legally done nothing wrong? OK. Good for you. Next time I'll buy Sony. Thanks for shipping me multiple faulty products.

    This is just like the Red Ring of Death. They denied over and over again there was anything wrong with their manufacturing. I ended up giving up the fight and paid for the repair. It was less than a month later they finally reversed that policy and I was
    *** over because I didn't wait long enough.

    I won't let this one go. I already had to replace my damn console, now the controller too. Give me a damn break. Sony isn't any better. Their analog sticks are fraying from cheaper rubber used and they force you to pay for shipping and wait for the replacement
    as well.

    I just want to report that tomorrow I'm heading to Game to report this issue for the 2nd time (the 1st time they gave me a new one immediately). Every time playing fifa... I also had to ship my day one controller because of this issue too (ofc I needed to
    pay for the shipping). I'm even avoiding to play with my day one controller with afraid that it will happen again. I can't believe that this is still an ongoing issue... :/

  15. My controller broke on 2/5, they received it on 2/17, and I haven't received anything back yet. Nice one microsoft, you lose a client here.
