    Controller analog stick acting up


    4/5 months ago, I bought an Xbox One Wireless Controller White Sport Edition, and for the past 4/5 months, it has worked fine. Today, that changed. I let my sister have a go on MK11 and being the young girl that she is, she button bashed and somehow broke
    the right analog stick. The right analog stick now moves with little to no effort put onto it, and feels significantly lighter/less tense than the left analog stick. I am wondering if there is any easy solution to this problem that I actually had on many old
    controllers that I replaced.

    Not sure if it is a defect, versus that your little sister broke it. Since it's not in warranty anymore though you can probably Google/Bing online solutions to fix it.

    Hi Airza,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums, I'd be happy to help.

    Unfortunately it sounds like the internal hardware was likely damaged if it physically feels less tense than the left analog stick. The damage is causing the analog stick to input direction onto the circuit board without much effort. If you have restarted
    the Xbox and if you have another controller to compare for confirmation, then your current controller would need to be replaced with a new one. Controllers have a 90 day warranty but I highly recommend contacting customer support and see what they can offer.

    Yeah you're right, I used the wrong word, and I will edit it, but bing/Google has literally no advice/instructions on how to fix it, which is why I came here.

    Those controllers are only under warranty for 90 days. After that Microsoft will not accept it for repair at all. You're not going to find info on self repair here as well but perhaps reddit.

    Tried and it made no difference, issue is with controller I believe as when I use left analog stick forward with my trigger stops engaged it will act as if I’m pulling the left trigger
