Controller Afterglow 360 keep vibrating on PC

Discus and support Controller Afterglow 360 keep vibrating on PC in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; found my controller afterglow for XBOX 360 unplugged while I was in Dark Souls 3 menu.     Controller Afterglow 360 keep vibrating on PC


    found my controller afterglow for XBOX 360 unplugged while I was in Dark Souls 3 menu. I plugged it in.

    Now it keeps vibrating, and there's some mess with buttons, as in some DS3 menu (item selection), I go upward. LT and RT seems inversed (I need to push them to unactivate them).

    I think that something in the controller hard or soft is bugged.

    I resinstalled the driver, recalibrated, without effect.

    I don't find any reset button, nor any tool to open controller setup or memory.

    seems to be the controller itslef, because i get the same problem when i connect it to a new pc, it starts and keeps vibrating as soon as plugged

    Until now, it was work perfect.

    If someone has idea, he is welcome.

    In addition to the instructions from XBF Chris J, make sure that you really have a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not a wireless Xbox 360 controller that you connect with a Play & Charge kit cable.

    A real Xbox 360 controller that works with PC has a fixed, non-removable cable. If you can unplug the cable from the front of the controller, that cable ONLY transmits power to charge the controller.

    No controller data can be transmitted via that charging cable, and therefore the PC can not detect it. But when the controller detects power coming through that cable, it vibrates shortly. Maybe it's that why the controller "only" vibrates, but is not detected
    by the PC.

    You would have to get a USB version or Wireless with adapter controller to work on PC. The one I use is an Afterglow Wired Controller for Xbox Once on my PC.
