Controller after idle has connecting issues

Don't leave the game idle. Exit out to the dashboard after playing, hit the "Menu" button on your controller, and select "quit". It's freezing and the issues are being caused by trying to connect to EA's servers.

.....it’s happening to me as well. It seems every time my controller goes off, Netflix dims and reduces in audio.

This has to be faulty coding involved with their idle feature. Their idle test is probably controller off lol

Would love a response for how to fix this issue as it is getting really frustring

Hey Supes! Just a heads-up, unfortunately the idle settings only allow you to change the timing of the screen dimming to a maximum of 60 minutes, but you can't turn it off altogether. I mentioned it above as a workaround, but I think the main issue is that
the console appears only to accept "controller movement" as legit "activity." So, drive activity (DVD or BR) or streaming content aren't detected as activity, causing the timeout.

I even found one guy online who sometimes listens to a movie after everyone has gone to bed, using headphones attached to the controller's 3.5mm jack, but when the screen goes idle, the controller turns off, and the headphones lose connection! 😬

Also having controller problems. Seems to start once the controllers gone idle. After that it's nothing but headset issues, sync issues (even when using USB!) and kinect is unplugged issues.

Hard restart "fixes" this but as ppl have said that's a ball ache.

my controller works fine until it disconnects, be it i disconnected it or it stayed idle for 15 minutes, after that i hold the xbox button and the controller shows its connected, however no buttons work, not even if another controller was connected, the
Kinect works fine however to reconnect the controller i have to power-cycle the console every-time.
