controller acting up

i have the newest edition of the xbox controller, and i have an xbox one, the right stick on my controller looks up in all of my games, and when i watch youtube, the pop up bar that lets you fast forward and rewind pops up all the time. in gta5, the way to look up is to pull down on the right stick, but ok R6, you push it up, my controller looks up in both of these games even with invert controls, i’ve taken apart my controller and cleaned it, i dont really know what else to do so anything will help

when i move my right stick a little bit it stops it for about 30 seconds, then it starts again, i also use my controller plugged in so i don’t know if that would change anything, the everything double moves when i use it, for instance, when i’m scrolling on youtube, it will skip a spot and move to the next

Seems to be a stick drift, im guessing your warranty was already over because you decided to open the controller, but the best options in this cases are

1.- try to update the controller, even if the system says it's already updated you can anyway press on update and sometimes this helps a little bit

2.- some FPS hace a setting to adjust dead zone, you could try adjusting it to reduce the drift
