    Controller A Button Not Working


    the A Button on my controller does not work. I cannot click the button because it has stuck down.

    If I flip the controller upside down it falls into place but then when I flip the controller back to its original state the button sinks back down.

    As you can see the other buttons rest higher than the A button. Help is appreciated. Thanks

    When you restarted the console, did you just push the power button or hold it down? If you haven't already, try holding it down for 10 seconds until it shuts down, then reboot it. If you've tried that and are still having trouble, you'll want to start a
    new thread so you can get the most help.

    Just came across this issue with the Xbox button not working. It was working fine just 2 hours ago I don't get it. I've tried restarting the console I've switched controllers and even went out and bought a new controller still nothing. WTF!!! Someone please

    The A button is the most used button so it is always the first to go out. Nothing to do now but replace it.

    Hi Townzie,

    If the controller is over 90 days old, you would need to purchase a new one. As there is no warranty for them over 90 days.
