    Hi i've got a problem whit my controller i can not connect anymore when I press the button to turn it on it blinks twice and turn off. My xbox one got no problem i guess because it recognize my controller when i use an usb cable to connect it with the xbox
    i did all the update for the controller and the xbox but it still don't want to let me play without the usb cable. And of course i've got new batteries in my joystick

    Parental Control problem.

    My ex boyfriend put a parental lock on my account after we broke up, I have moved out and I am currently playing on a different Xbox, however I can't accept friends, can't message and can't chat to people. Pretty much can't do anything unless I accepted
    people before the lock went on!

    Is there any possible way I can get help removing this from Microsoft?

    Can you please try re syncing the controller to the console as
    guided here     to see if this helps with your problem.

    My controller turn off before it can do the re syncing but the xbox search for the synchronization. The only way i can use my controller is to put an micro USB cable with that way the controller don't turn off.

    It could be an issue with the batteries being low too. You might try another set of batteries.

    Controller troubleshooting. If it's a software issue with the controller, this should help.

    1) Settings > Kinect and Devices > Devices and Accessories > More Options

    2) Select Firmware version, (even if it states no update available) and then choose Update Now.

    - When its done it should state no updates needed

    - Choose Close

    3) Choose More Options > Select Assigned to and re-assign your profile to your controller

    4) Buzz the controller. It should buzz. If it doesn't, either the feature is turned off or the batteries are low. Use new batteries and test again.

    5) Go back to Configure and choose Restore Original. This resets the controller back to defaults

    6) Pull the batteries out of the controller and leave them out until the Xbox has restarted from the step below

    7) Hard reset the Xbox - Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.

    8) Put batteries back in the controller

    9) Re-sync your Xbox One controller to refresh the connection back to the Xbox.

    Four Channel,

    In my experience, I've had a lot of people have issues with controllers where buttons would not be completely "functional" to where not all buttons would move. And in SOME instances, when they would charge or change the batteries, it would work again. I'm
    not saying this is the problem, i'm simply saying he should eliminate ALL possibilities before looking into a replacement/defect controller.

    Trust me, I worked at Gamestop for many years, and now I have seen it a lot of times.

    But you also do have a good point Four Channel, to where it may be a defect, but we just want to once again eliminate all possibitlites. I'm not trying to say you're wrong, because your not. :) Just wanna make sure we check everything out, and charging was
    one of the troubleshooting that has solved an issue like this with many people I haev assisted in the past.
